APPLICATION

Compared to natural stones, manufactured stones are applied more easily, fast and economically by its lightweight, easily shaped to required size and fitting each other design properties. Its transportation and storing is easy. Manufactured Stone has a dlat surface at the wall side. So by CM Stone®, you can cover the walls that can not be covered technically with natural stones. Also you do not cause any place loss by thickening your walls. Manufactured stones can be applied directly to rough, unreated walls and any type of mortar, well-anchored insulation or plasterboards. Wire mesh or other material must be used on other surfaces (such as wood or metal). When the wall is treated or painted, sand it down first or apply a wire mesh before the adhesive.

Se high resistance professional super adhesive for installing manufactured brick or stone facing and floors both indoors and outdoors. When installing outdoors, we advise applying adhesive on the back side of the stone and as well as on the main surface. Use mortar for indoor and outdoor grouting of manufactured brick or stone. It looks natural, absorbs little water and is highly resistant to bloom. Installation depends on which models you use. You can install approx. 8 – 10 m2 a day to 25 – 30 m2 depending on the stone type and application surface.

CLEANING AND PROTECTION

Protect installed units from mud, dirt, cement, paint, sealant and other materials until completion of project; clean soiled units. To clean, use fibre brushes and clean water if needed; DO NOT clean with acid or commercial cleaners unless specifically approved by manufacturer. Repair or replace damaged units and units that cannot be adequately cleaned before Substantial Completion; for repair, use only mechanics and techniques approved by the manufacturer.
